Connect OANDA

Paper mode: no real money

Paper mode connects to OANDA's official demo environment. You get virtual funds and real market prices. No real money is involved. It's the best way to learn the agent before going live.

OANDA offers a free practice account with full API access. It uses real market prices with simulated execution and no real money.

    Register a free OANDA practice account

    Go to oanda.com/register and sign up for a practice account. No deposit required.

    Log in to hub.oanda.com and switch to your practice account

    Go to hub.oanda.com and make sure you are viewing your practice (fxPractice) account.

    Generate a Personal Access Token

    Go to My Account → My Services → Manage API Access and click Generate. Copy the token immediately. OANDA does not store it.

    Find your practice account ID

    Your account ID looks like 001-001-1234567-001. It appears in the OANDA dashboard header.

    Paste into Alle-Quant

    In Alle-Quant, open the exchange panel, select OANDA, choose the Paper tab. Enter the token as API Key and your account ID as Passphrase. Click Connect.
