Connect OKX

Start with paper (demo) mode to practice risk-free with real market data. Switch to live when you're ready.

Paper mode: no real money

Paper mode connects to OKX's official demo environment. You get virtual funds and real market prices. No real money is involved. It's the best way to learn the agent before going live.

OKX Demo Trading uses the same API endpoint as live but with separate demo credentials. You create the demo API key from inside the demo environment in your OKX account settings.

    Enable Demo Trading in OKX

    In your OKX account (app or web), go to Settings → Demo Trading and switch it on.

    Go to API Management inside demo mode

    While in demo mode, open Account → API Management and create a new key. Label it 'Alle-Quant Paper'.

    Create a passphrase

    OKX requires a passphrase even for demo keys. Create one and save it. It is shown only once.

    Copy all three credentials

    Copy your API Key, Secret Key, and Passphrase.

    Paste them into Alle-Quant

    In Alle-Quant, open the exchange panel, select OKX, choose the Paper tab, and paste all three fields. Click Connect.
