Insomnia mode
Insomnia is Alle-Quant's autonomous trading loop. You give the agent a goal, it trades continuously until the goal is reached or the time runs out. whether you are watching or not.
The agent never sleeps
While insomnia is running, the agent repeatedly researches the market, checks conditions, places trades, monitors positions, and reviews results. Then starts again. Each loop is one iteration. You can watch it live or come back later to see what happened.
Starting an insomnia run

Switch to Insomnia mode
Click the mode selector in the prompt bar (next to the send button) and choose "Insomnia". A goal form appears.

Set your goal
Choose a target: a dollar return, a percentage gain, or a time limit. For example: "earn $200 or run for 4 hours". The agent works toward whichever goal you describe.

Review the proposal
The agent analyses the market and proposes a strategy. Read it and click Start Insomnia to confirm. You can reject or ask it to revise.

Watch the counter
An Insomnia badge appears in the top bar showing the number of active runs and the exchanges being traded. Click it to see progress, equity, and elapsed time.

Halt at any time
Click the Halt button inside the insomnia widget, or use the command menu (Cmd/Ctrl+K → Halt insomnia). The agent finishes its current action and stops cleanly.

Server-side insomnia (Pro+ and above)
On Pro+, Prime, and BYOK plans, insomnia runs on our servers, not on your computer. This means:
- The run continues even if you close the app or shut down your computer
- It keeps trading while you sleep
- When you reopen the app, it catches up with everything that happened while you were away
- Your exchange credentials never leave our encrypted server environment
Safety during insomnia
All standard risk limits apply during insomnia runs. The kill switch still triggers if your daily loss limit is hit. The agent will not trade on an exchange you have not explicitly selected. You can halt any run instantly from the insomnia widget in the app header.
